CONFIDENTIAL: The information contained in this document is strictly confidential. This document may not be copied in any form or by any means, mechanical or electronic, nor may it be forwarded, disclosed or used in whole or in part without the written consent of Ad Scientiam.
Ad Scientiam has developed this mobile application for conducting clinical studies. For the purpose of this study, it is necessary to collect and process your personal data, including your personal health information.
Depending on the parameters of the application and the clinical study concerned, the mobile application may access certain sensors in your phone to calculate the digital biomarkers required for the study, including:
  • accelerometer ;
  • gyroscope ;
  • GPS: the exact coordinates of your movements will not be recorded or used. We only collect and analyze the relative position between the point of departure and the point of arrival, enabling us to deduce the distance covered. For example, we'll know that the patient has travelled a distance of 200 meters, without knowing where this distance was covered.
  • camera ;
  • microphone ;
  • finger position.
All information relating to data processing within the framework of the study is described in the information notice provided to you by your investigating physician. In particular, you will find the following information:
  • the name of the data controller(s);
  • the purposes for the collection of your personal data;
  • the list of personal data collected ;
  • the people who will access your personal data;
  • the eventual transfers made outside the European Union;
  • the retention period of your data;
  • the rights guaranteed to you in the context of this study, and and how to exercise them.
If you have any questions regarding the processing of your personal data in the context of the study, it is recommended that you first contact your treating physician. Secondly, if they were unable to answer your questions, or if you wish to exercise your rights, you can contact Ad Scientiam's Data Protection Officer (privacy@adscientiam.com) who will handle this request in coordination with the physician, professionals involved in the study and the data controller (as indicated in the information notice provided to you as part of the study).
